Riverdale’s Ryan Grantham Sentenced to Life in Prison for Killing His Mom

on September 22 from BC Prosecution Services, the 24-year-old, who previously appeared as an actor in the CW television series Riverdale

was given a life sentence with the potential of parole in 14 years. 

At the sentencing hearing on September 20, the court also ordered Grantham to surrender all firearms.

According to the statement, second-degree murder in British Columbia carries a mandatory life sentence and a gun ban.

Ryan Grantham has "worked incredibly hard to turn his life around,"

according to Ryan's attorney Chris Johnson, after being jailed.

Johnson added in a statement that "he has struggled with what he has done and facing it.

He has received a lot of psychological counselling.
