Relationship between sleep apnea and Alzheimer’s disease
A new research says that untreated sleep apnea may lead to Alzheimer's disease.
"Sleep apnea can impact overnight change and biomarkers."
Andrew W. Varga said,
"This might be reflective of both neural health and Alzheimer's disease."
He also says,
This study was first published in the
American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine
The researchers reported significant differences in sleep patter measures between untreated OSA & PAP treated nights.
