Nia Long's Fiancé Ime Udoka Speaks Out After Being Suspended as Boston Celtics Coach

The Boston Celtics club stated on September 22 that the professional basketball coach

who has been engaged to actress Nia Long since 2015

has been removed from his position as head coach.

Due to "violations of team policies," Udoka was suspended for the 2022–2023 season, effective immediately

according to a statement from the Celtics.

A decision about his employment with the Celtics after this season will be made at a later time, it was noted.

After hearing the news, Udoka spoke with ESPN reporter Malika Andrews and apologised for the incident.
