Learn about the new type of infectious cancer in dogs.

This infectious cancer is called CTVT.

CTVT stands for canine transmissible venereal tumour.

This is spread through sniffing, licking and mating.

Male dogs are upto 5 times more likely to be infected than females.

This is due to the differences in the genitals structure.

The living cancer cells physically transplant themselves from one animal to the other.

the cancer can also affect other areas like the nose, mouth and skin.

As of today, 2000 cases of CTVT have been reported around the globe.
