After effects of Vitamin D supplement overdose

Vitamin D supplements are taken by people who lack the vitamin.

However, this shouldn't be taken excessively.

Hypervitaminosis D is a condition caused by too much of vitamin D.

It causes nausea, chest pain, leg cramps, ringing in ears, a dry mouth, thirst, diarrhea & weight loss.

Dose higher than 600mg is considered as overdose.

This can also lead to very high level of calcium and magnesium.

This causes improper functioning of kidneys.

It can also cause bacterial meningitis, and chronic sinusitis.
